We are living at a time when it is not uncommon to hear of a number of our youth becoming atheists. What is even more shocking is the fact that there is an organization called Ex -Muslim Association of South Africa.The following are some of the many reasons why the youth leave the fold of Islam .
* They have not seen any evidence of God.
* They appear to be exposed to the wrath of God and not to the God of Mercy.
* They find it difficult to reconcile global events with the existence of God.
* Teachers and schooling has had a profound negative impact on their beliefs.
* Friends too can contribute to this sad state of affairs.
* The influence of social media…this too can have a deleterious impact.
* Personal trauma can lead to disenchantment and disbelief.
* There is a lack of understanding of Islam.
* The marriage of our beloved Prophet Mohamed (SAW) to Bibi Ayesha .This has been inaccurately characterized by the enemies of Islam.
* Etc
Our responsibility always is to present Islam to our innocent children in a beautiful way for they are growing up in a world that is becoming Godless.
